We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Wesley Long Hospital as a Relief Tier 2 CRNA. As a key member of our anesthesia care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our anesthesiologists in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient medical and surgical history to ensure appropriate care is provided.
- Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
- Prepare and administer medications and fluids in accordance with safe practice standards.
- Support the anesthesia care team in maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Complete required documentation, including the Surgical Safety Checklist and transfer-of-care note.
- Graduate from a School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia.
- North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Recognition as an Advanced Practice RN by the NC Board of Nursing.
- Certification/Recertification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NCBRNA).
