Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team at Standish Family Dental Health. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

• Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planning.
• Administer local anesthesia and perform other licensed duties as required.
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history.
• Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and at ease during their examination.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

• Valid RDH License.
• CPR certification.
• X-ray Certificate.
• 2-5 years of clinical experience in hygiene and non-surgical periodontal care.
• Familiarity with digital x-rays.
• Competence with licensed duties, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, administer local anesthesia, sealants, etc.
• Comfortable using computers for various tasks.
• Experience with Dentrix and Dexis a plus, but not required.
