About the Role

At Children's Wisconsin, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care to our young patients. As a Pediatric Nurse on our West 5 Acute Medical Unit, you'll be part of a dynamic team that delivers top-notch care to children with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to pediatric patients with cardiology, renal, hepatology, and solid organ transplant needs
  • Collaborate with the care management team to coordinate patient care and delegate tasks as needed
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest pediatric care practices
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a license to practice in the State of Wisconsin
  • BLS and PALS certifications required within the first 90 days
  • At least 1 year of hospital RN experience preferred
