The Perioperative Registered Nurse is a vital member of our team at USPI SurgCenter of Pima Crossing, providing high-quality patient care in the perioperative services. This role requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, supporting patients and families through the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective patient care using the nursing process and medical plan of care.
- Support patients and families through the perioperative experience, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure excellent communication and care.
- Current RN licensure in the state.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in PreOP/PACU.
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is highly desirable.
- Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and implementation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
