Autism Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Specialist-Behavior Tech to join our team at Hills & Dales Child Development Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy and support to children with autism.

Responsibilities:

• Implement customized programs designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients achieve their goals.
• Enhance social skills, manage behaviors, and develop vital communication techniques such as waiting strategies, play, speaking, and asking skills.
• Collect data, maintain progress notes, and adhere to documentation requirements to ensure accountability in our services.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with autism and other behavioral or psychological conditions.
• Patient and understanding approach when engaging with clients in their unique development journeys.
• Ability to focus on tasks, communicate effectively, and follow instructions.
• Interest in expanding your skill set and adapting strategies and tools to foster a dynamic, employee-centered environment.
