About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Orleans Essex Visiting Nurses Association & Hospice, Inc. This is a travel nursing position that offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes, utilizing their expertise in home health nursing practices. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical histories, current conditions, and living situations
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare settings
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A current RN license in Vermont
  • At least 1 year of experience in home health nursing or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Demonstrated knowledge of home health nursing practices, including OASIS documentation and care planning

This travel nursing position offers a competitive weekly salary of $2146.00, paid directly to your bank account on a biweekly basis. In addition to your compensation, you will also receive:
