Role Responsibilities and QualificationsWe are in search of a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse for our ICU. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a high-acuity setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain and review patient records, including documenting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications as per physician directives.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Florida Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If holding a compact license, an active Florida RN license is required within 60 days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.
- Prior experience in an acute care environment is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification is required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and effective interpersonal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directives.
