About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at St. Mark's Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Prepare and maintain operating rooms, equipment, and supplies, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in safety initiatives to ensure correct patient identification and verification of procedures.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of surgeons, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized patient care environment.
Requirements
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate (CST) and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent required. Must maintain required education and certification.
  • Completion of surgical technologist course preferred.
  • Two (2) Years of experience required.
