Interventional Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including IR, US, CT, MRI, Cardiac Catheterization, and Electrophysiology.
Responsibilities- Prepare equipment, monitor inventory, and maintain cleanliness of procedure room and work area.
- Assist the Director and Supervisor(s) to ensure the safety guidelines and imaging equipment safety is in compliance for the department.
- Comply with radiation safety guidelines for patient and self, utilizing all personal protective equipment.
- Operate all Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology equipment safely.
- Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner, explaining all procedures to the patient.
- Perform physical assessment by checking IV's, catheters, tubing, etc.
- Communicate and coordinate all Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology procedures with the appropriate caregivers.
- Review each exam for technical accuracy and complete verification process in PACS.
- Graduate of accredited school for ARRT or CCI.
- RT(R), RCIS, or RCES certification.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers through AHA or CPR through the American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS - 30 day grace period from start date.
- Preferred - ARRT Certification - Cardiovascular/Interventional (CV, CI, or VI).
- Minimum of two years working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- PACS experience preferred.
