About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Hallmark University as a Simulation Hospital Director, responsible for developing and implementing simulation education programs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement simulation curriculum to meet educational needs of learners and external partnerships
  • Facilitate the use of simulation to create immersive experiences supporting learner objectives
  • Assist faculty in planning, directing, and evaluating simulation activities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards regarding simulation in educational programs
  • Support grant opportunities to fund new simulation initiatives
  • Provide orientation, development, and literature on simulation principles
  • Operate, program, and maintain patient care simulators, bedside monitors, and viewing/recording systems
  • Supervise and approve time for simulation hospital employees
Requirements
  • MSN in Nursing - Doctorate preferred
  • Unencumbered licensed to practice nursing in the state of Texas
  • Experience with curriculum development and training
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with simulation
  • CHSE certification preferred
