PrepMatters, Inc. stands as the leading provider in the Washington metro area for personalized test preparation and educational guidance. We are in search of dedicated professionals to join our team as full-time Student Placement Consultants. This role operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This position is fully remote and includes a comprehensive benefits package, which encompasses medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick leave, paid time off, paid holidays, employer-sponsored life insurance and disability, a SIMPLE IRA with employer matching, and an Employee Assistance Program. Initial training will be conducted remotely.

Role Overview: The primary function of the Student Placement Consultant is to engage with prospective clients through in-person or phone interviews, understanding their needs, and aligning students with suitable tutors or educational counselors.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A proactive approach and the ability to confidently address customer inquiries
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • The capability to articulate complex ideas and instructions clearly in writing
  • Proficiency in technology and Microsoft Office applications
  • A bachelor's degree

In this role, you will:

  • Transform inquiries via email and phone into successful placements by advising families on PrepMatters services tailored to their student's academic requirements
  • Collaborate closely with families and tutors to ensure successful placement outcomes
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current clients, addressing questions and concerns regarding our services
  • Work with colleagues to enhance placement success
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with students' families

Your Profile: As a professional with outstanding communication abilities, you enjoy engaging with individuals to resolve client inquiries. You are reliable and committed to this vital front-line role. You excel in interpersonal interactions and radiate professional warmth. You demonstrate composure in engagements, listen attentively, and articulate thoughts effectively in both written and verbal forms. You navigate a fast-paced environment with professionalism and have a keen interest in collaborating with educated and accomplished clients. You are technologically adept and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. At PrepMatters, we aim for every client to receive personalized, excellent service delivered with a touch of enthusiasm.

Compensation: $50,000-$60,000, depending on experience.
