As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential nursing services to patients within a designated unit, ensuring a commitment to excellence in care and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, professional nursing care to a specific patient demographic in an acute care environment.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care processes.
- Implement nursing interventions aimed at achieving optimal health outcomes for patients.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
- Exhibit standards of excellence by practicing nursing with core values such as compassion, accountability, respect, teamwork, and integrity.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Qualifications:
- Nursing Diploma required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 36 months of hire if not already held.
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse credential from an accredited nursing program.
