Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between USD $17.00 - USD $19.00 per hour, reflecting the importance we place on rewarding our staff for their dedication and expertise.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cook/Dietary Aide to join our culinary team, responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. The successful candidate will possess strong culinary skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as a Cook, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Safe knife handling skills
  • Ability to follow instructions for the safe use, cleaning and care of dietary equipment, preparation and service areas

In addition to your technical skills, you will also possess a compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
