We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Automotive Technology courses at Antelope Valley College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and a passion for teaching.

• Teach a variety of courses in Automotive Technology, including subjects such as ASE A1-A8.
• Develop and implement curriculum to prepare students for ASE exams.
• Evaluate student performance and record grades.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards.

• Bachelor's degree AND two years of professional experience OR Associate degree AND six years of professional experience OR Equivalency.
• ASE certifications from A1-A8 and G1.
• Automotive manufacturer training.
• California BAR Smog certification.
• Experience rebuilding manual or automatic transmissions.

• Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
