Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Montessori Lead Teacher to join our team at Qualified Staffing in Katy, TX. This is a full-time and part-time opportunity for an experienced educator to plan and present engaging activities for children aged 18 months to 12 years.

Responsibilities:
  • Instruct preschool-aged children in intellectually stimulating activities that promote creative growth and development.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters socialization and emotional well-being.
  • Develop schedules and routines that balance physical activity, rest, and playtime, ensuring a healthy and happy child.
  • Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates on their child's progress and achievements.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a collaborative and inclusive team atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in childcare or teaching, preferably in a Montessori setting.
  • Certification from the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), American Montessori Society (AMS), or similar Montessori Certification is mandatory for this role.
  • Strong ability to build rapport with children, communicate effectively, and manage classroom dynamics.
  • Able to commute to Katy, Texas, and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and maintain CPR & First Aid Certification.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
