">About the Role:
">We are seeking a skilled Tractor Technician Specialist to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on tractors and trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.">
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems.">
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, and other critical systems.">
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and submit reports as required.">
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.">
Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.">
- Minimum 6-12 months of experience in truck/automotive maintenance, with expertise in diesel engines and refrigeration systems.">
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and specifications, and use diagnostic equipment effectively.">
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on safety and quality.">
