Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Conduct hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Patient Care: Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
- Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
- Financial Management: Monitor and adhere to budget, approving or monitoring expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Experience: Two years' registered nurse experience, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility OR one year of registered nurse experience plus one year of relevant leadership experience
- Licensure: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) And Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) or equivalent licensure in other states
