Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Residential Electrician to join our team at Roman Electric Co., Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential buildings. This includes installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting systems, inspecting electrical components, and responding to service calls.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We offer competitive compensation, including an hourly rate with commission on sales.


Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated equipment
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears
  • Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
  • Work safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • State of Wisconsin valid Residential Wireman License required
  • 5+ years' experience in the electrical trade
  • Self-starter, reliable, and flexible with hours
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with clients
  • Must pass random drug testing
  • Understanding of current regulations within the field
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • General knowledge of power tools and techniques for care and safe use
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, trouble shooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, often in residential settings. The ability to work in cramped spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights is required. The candidate must also be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be exposed to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations.

Compensation
