Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

At L3 Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Lynchburg, VA. This role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience.

Job Description:
  • We are looking for a highly motivated individual to develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) and external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and being properly executed.
  • Determining root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications, and implementing effective corrective action as needed, is a critical aspect of this role.
  • This position involves writing inspection procedures and assisting in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions.
  • Analyzing quality performance for the factory and collaborating with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas is also essential.
  • This role requires serving as the primary customer Quality interface, which may involve conducting customer business briefings.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences, or a related field is required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior knowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN, and/or simulation tools like Arena, CAD, and/or AutoCAD is preferred.
