Job Title: Clinic RN Gastro

At Catholic Health Initiatives, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional service. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinic RN Gastro to join our team.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role, working from home 2 days a week and in-office 3 days a week. The successful candidate will provide general nursing care to patients, perform specific nursing care related to the specialty of the practice, and obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.
  • May perform specific nursing care as it relates to the specialty of the practice.
  • Obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.
  • Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administer prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.
  • Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Document patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
  • Track quality assurance data and monitor for acute and chronic care management.
  • May act as team lead for other nursing staff.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state.
  • Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience for the hybrid role.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required.
