Job Overview
At BioLife Plasma Services, we are dedicated to the collection of high-quality plasma that transforms lives through innovative medicines. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in our operations, working closely with our Plasma Center Manager.


Role Responsibilities:
As a Medical Support Specialist, your daily tasks will include:
  • Assessing donor eligibility through comprehensive medical history interviews and physical examinations.
  • Managing donor reactions and ensuring adherence to safety protocols during medical emergencies.
  • Collaborating with the Center Physician to address medical concerns and provide guidance on donor safety.
  • Supporting vaccination initiatives for employees and managing incidents in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Acting as a Pandemic Coordinator when necessary, contributing to community health initiatives.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, including completion of a recognized nursing program.
  • Current licensure as an LPN or LVN in the state of employment.
  • Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED.
  • Experience in a clinical or hospital environment, with a minimum of two years preferred.
