Join Our Team as a Senior Product Development Engineer

LQDX is a pioneering company that develops advanced materials for AI and high-performance computing. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge chemistries and process technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and integrate metal ink chemistries into semiconductor packaging and MEMS-scale wafer processing.
  • Coordinate and perform developmental tests, support product development, scale-up, and transfer of products and processes to customers and partners.
  • Qualify new materials and processes via DOE, develop licenseable plans of record for customer adoption.
  • Collaborate with process engineering, R&D, and commercial teams, present internal and external reviews.
  • Drive progress through stage gate planning and reviews, establish timelines and budgets, and hold partners and vendors accountable.
  • Closely work with executive management teams to manage key accounts.
Qualifications:
  • Proven ownership mindset with a large stock-based upside.
  • Advanced technical degree in engineering, material science, semiconductor physics, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in semiconductor and advanced packaging processing, experience in IC-substrate/UHDI PCB development, metallization processes used in advanced packaging preferred.
  • Understanding of process development, control, characterization, failure analysis, technology transfer, industry best practices.
  • Ability to align engineering and operational activities within company's strategic goals, provide strategic direction on customer acquisition, IP, and critical roadmap issues.
  • Strong organizational leadership abilities, collaborative capabilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability, handling unforeseen challenges and adapting to changing circumstances is a day-to-day reality in a start-up.
  • Demonstrated strategic problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Citizenship to participate in and manage governmental/CHIPS programs.
  • Hybrid management of a global partner/supply chain network.
  • Travel required to partner locations in North America, Asia, and Europe.
