We are seeking an Automotive Service Manager to oversee and coordinate all service department operations within a retail environment that specializes in tire sales and related automotive components, as well as mechanical services. This role serves as a developmental pathway towards Store Manager responsibilities. Midas is dedicated to nurturing talent and promoting from within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by actively listening and advising clients.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding requested services, estimated completion times, and follow-ups.
- Present and discuss pricing estimates with customers while promoting service specials.
- Supervise technicians in their inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of domestic, European, and Asian vehicles, including light trucks.
- Manage inventory levels effectively.
- Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the service facility.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or service management role.
- General knowledge of automotive systems and services.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
