Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ward Clerk to provide administrative support to our Ward Team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the ward, providing excellent patient care, and maintaining accurate records.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Ward Manager and ward staff, including completing records, filing, photocopying/scanning, and handling mail.
  • Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and request appointments as needed.
  • Undertake general clerical duties, including using the Trust's computer systems and interacting with other departments, patients, and their relatives.
  • Act as a focal point for the Ward and the team, maintaining confidentiality and providing a high standard of administration support.
