Piedmont Healthcare is a leading healthcare provider in the region, offering a comprehensive Nurse Residency program for new graduate nurses. As a Registered Nurse with Piedmont Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical judgment, communication skills, and leadership abilities in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The Nurse Residency program is designed to facilitate your transition from student to professional nurse through education, mentorship, and peer support. You will work alongside experienced preceptors and engage in blended learning experiences to enhance your knowledge and skills.
As a New Graduate Nurse Residency Program participant, you can expect:
- To develop the clinical judgment needed to rapidly recognize a change in patient condition and the urgency of a clinical situation
- To cultivate excellent communication skills, allowing you to engage with colleagues and support patients
- To enjoy cohort experiences designed to promote peer and professional socialization and strengthen your commitment to nursing
- To learn didactic content specifically tailored to new graduates from professional nursing organizations
You will have opportunities to work in various specialties, including Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Women's Services, Cardiovascular/Progressive Care, Surgical Services, Transplant, and more.
About Our Salary and BenefitsWe offer competitive salaries and a range of benefits to support your well-being and career growth. Our estimated salary for this role is $68,000 - $92,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
