Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

Blue Balloon ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and is committed to providing high-quality, one-on-one therapy. As an RBT, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior acquisition and reduction plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide intensive one-on-one therapy to children with ASD
  • Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans
  • Conduct stimulus preference assessments
  • Collect data
  • Maintain client's program book
  • Develop/create teaching materials
  • Provide basic care to the clients (e.g., toileting, eating)
  • Discuss client's daily progress with parents/caretakers
  • Work with BCBA to implement individualized goals and checklists
  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
  • Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge with continuing education
Requirements:
  • Valid and active RBT credential number on the BACB website
  • Previous experience working with children; ASD experience strongly preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Background check clearance upon hire
  • Reliability- ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week
  • Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation
