We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of mammographic procedures while providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Complex Equipment: Utilize advanced radiographic and support equipment, including mammographic, ultrasound, and stereotactic breast biopsy machines, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Assist Radiologists: Collaborate with radiologists to perform and produce fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring accurate technique factors and patient positioning.
- Maintain Equipment and Quality Control: Ensure the maintenance of mammography equipment and components, adhering to MQSA programs, ACR, FDA, and TDH standards and regulations.
- Provide Patient Care: Demonstrate competence in patient care responsibilities, adapting to the unique needs of patients served by the department.
- Adhere to Quality Standards: Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to the CORE VALUES of Christus Health.
- Meet Educational Requirements: Possess a graduate degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred
- 1 year experience in Mammography
- Registered by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and Mammography required
