Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Visiting Angels Athens. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Assist Clients with Daily Activities: Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
- Provide Medication Management: Assist clients with taking prescribed medications and maintaining accurate medication records.
- Support Mobility and Ambulation: Assist clients with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids, such as walkers or wheelchairs.
- Prepare Meals and Snacks: Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Perform Light Housekeeping: Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Provide Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and participate in activities with clients to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Report Incidents and Concerns: Document and report any unusual incidents or concerns to the client's family or our office staff.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification: Must be certified as a CNA in the state of Georgia.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and our office staff.
- Physical Stamina: Demonstrate the physical stamina and endurance to perform the duties of a CNA, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and Trustworthiness: Possess a strong sense of reliability and trustworthiness, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
