Sales Representative

DiVal Safety Equipment, a leading distributor of fire, EMS, and industrial safety equipment, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Fire Division team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve 12% annual growth in the Fire Division.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities and creating new business relationships.
- Manage and hit supportive metrics in CRM, including calls, appointments, opportunities, and quotes.
- Plan sales calls using call objectives and high-value questions to drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with specialists in the territory to improve customer experience and meet all potential needs.
- Identify new value-driven products for customers and work with the corporate accounts division to create relationships with key accounts.
- Focus on horizontal growth and lost business within accounts.
- Nurture long-term relationships with customers and deal promptly with customer dissatisfaction issues.
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years' experience in sales.
- Minimum college associate degree.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable vehicle record.
- Demonstrates mastery of skills in consultative selling, marketing principles, prospecting, networking, and negotiations.
- Lives by the DiVal Core Values.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic sales reports.
- Firm understanding of the competitive situation within accounts and territory.
- Well-versed in basic math and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to acquire a functional knowledge of computer programs.
- Abides by the DiVal dress code.
- Approximately 25% of time requires overnight travel.
