The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Nursing and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred. The successful candidate will work in a 65-bed, pod-based Emergency Department with separate pediatric and acute mental health areas, providing care for a diverse patient population with a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Key responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, and critical thinking. The nurse will handle a daily census of approximately 230 visits and utilize the EPIC ASAP electronic medical record system for charting. The ideal candidate will be prepared for floating when required and participate in rotating shifts as needed. The successful candidate will ensure all necessary certifications are maintained. This is a 13-week contract position with a weekly pay range of $2210 to $2455. The shift is 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Nights & Every Other Weekend, with 36 hours guaranteed.
