Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to become an integral part of our team in Manhattan, KS. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' needs, strengths, and aspirations.
2. Develop and execute tailored treatment strategies using evidence-based therapeutic methods.
3. Facilitate ongoing therapy sessions addressing a range of issues, including relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic care.
5. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
6. Engage in supervision, team discussions, and professional growth opportunities to enhance your skills and stay updated with best practices.
7. Participate in outreach and community education initiatives to promote mental health awareness and expand service accessibility.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or behavioral health environment.
3. Proficient in conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
5. Strong commitment to cultural competence, diversity, and inclusion in clinical practice.
6. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
