We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at Physician Empire. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide inpatient psychiatric services for our 13-bed unit, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Round daily on the inpatient acute unit, Monday through Friday, to ensure seamless patient care and effective treatment planning.
- Provide medical consultation to the emergency department as scheduled, utilizing your expertise to inform treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in the call rotation calendar, providing on-call services as needed, with a typical schedule of one weekend per month and two weekdays per week.
- Collaborate with our therapy team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating psychoeducation and other evidence-based interventions.
Our facility is conveniently located near Ocean City and Chesapeake Bay, offering easy access to a range of amenities and attractions. You will also be within a 2-hour drive of Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).
