About the Role
Capital One is seeking a skilled Cloud-Based Software Engineering Expert to join our team. This role requires at least 3 years of professional software engineering experience and a strong background in cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and participate in internal & external technology communities
- Deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for millions of Americans
- Utilize programming languages like Python, SQL, Java, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Python, Java, Scala, Go, or Node.js
- 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- 2+ years of experience with SQL queries and optimization
- 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
