Sales Director

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving assigned sales goals for the hotel. This role involves effectively soliciting and securing new accounts, working closely with the Director of Sales to achieve revenue and market share goals. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing multiple tasks, developing strong relationships with clients, and maintaining a deep understanding of the hotel's operations and policies.
Responsibilities
• Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals, as well as solicitation call goals.
• Proactively conduct solicitation calls, sales tours, and entertain clients to grow existing relationships and secure new business opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate trends within the market segment to stay ahead of the competition.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Develop a full working knowledge of the hotel's operations and policies, as well as applicable departments.
• Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations as applicable.
• Assist in implementing and/or participating in special promotions relating to direct sales segments, such as sales blitzes.
• Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and any other functions required by management.
