Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana is seeking a skilled and experienced Server to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and math skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
• Table Management: Skilled at reading the table and anticipating guests' needs to provide prompt and attentive service.
• Teamwork: A team player who is always willing to give and ask for help to ensure seamless service.
• Experience: At least six months of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service.
• Product Knowledge: Ability to make guest recommendations through knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, and a la carte food service.
• Order Management: Communicating orders clearly with the bar staff and kitchen to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Continuous Table Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized table environment to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Check Management: Closing out checks and reconciling cash in a timely fashion to ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Food Safety and Sanitation: Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Teamwork Attitude: Maintaining a positive teamwork attitude to ensure seamless service and a positive work environment.
• Guest Satisfaction: Communicating clearly, professionally, and respectfully to monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Flexibility: Having a flexible work schedule, including weekend availability, to meet the needs of our guests.
• Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 35 lbs., and continuously bend, reach, and twist to ensure efficient service.
• Certifications: RBS Certified or within 60 days of date of hire, and Food Handlers Card or within 30 days from date of hire.
