Pediatric Physical Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children with physical disabilities or injuries to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement exercise regimens to increase flexibility, strength, or endurance, and to relieve pain and reduce swelling.
  • Provide information and education to patients and their caregivers on the use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Help patients to restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent disability.
  • Determine patients' ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
  • Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting).
  • Pediatric Physical Therapy experience preferred.
  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
  • Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking.

Location: Holy Rosary Hospital, Miles City, Montana.

Hourly Range: $37.46 - $57.80.
