Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team. As a part of our organization, you'll build industry-defining reusable customer and partner-facing services and products to lead differentiated experiences and revenue. You will be in the unique position to serve both our customers (1P as well as 3P) and our associates as a member of this organization supporting all segments of Walmart.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain REST API services using technologies such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, and data stores to enable user interaction with large volume datasets.
  • Build highly scalable, low-latency, fault-tolerant, and high-performance architecture solutions for customer-facing web and mobile applications.
  • Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) phases, including sprint planning, estimating, design, development, testing, and deployment within an Agile development environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong development experience in an object-oriented language (Java, Python, C++, C#, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud application development, including scalable, data-driven, and message-oriented architecture.
  • Experience designing scalable microservices.

As a member of our team, you'll enjoy a competitive salary range of $117,000-$234,000, depending on your qualifications and experience. In addition to your base salary, you may also receive performance bonuses and other benefits, including:
