Job Summary:

The Warehouse Specialty Associate is a critical role at Lowe's Companies, responsible for executing customized services offered by the warehouse. This position requires a high level of skill and attention to detail, with a focus on handling products safely to ensure white glove customer service through accurate fulfillment of orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and modify custom products to the highest level of company standards
  • Operate various power tools, including chop saws, panel saws, and table saws
  • Properly label, tag, and wrap end products in preparation for delivery to customers
  • Utilize paint equipment and software programs effectively, including tinters, shakers, and other designated equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe working station, adhering to all OSHA safety standards and wearing proper PPE
  • Achieve or exceed performance expectations by completing all receiving tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Perform tasks in cross-functional areas, such as picking, pulling, labeling, and shipping, as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in distribution center operations or previous warehouse experience
  • Experience operating powered equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and yard trucks
  • Experience performing detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced working environment
  • Experience using spatial reasoning to position products effectively
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School or GED
  • 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
  • Strong safety orientation and proven record of complying with safety requirements
  • Demonstrated track record of consistent and reliable on-the-job contribution
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision or as part of a team
