Job Summary:

As an Electrician II at Smeal SFA, LLC, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on fire apparatus. This includes wiring, circuitry, and electrical control systems. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning properly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment on fire apparatus
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on fire apparatus
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning properly and safely
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures when working with electrical systems and equipment

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

• Work in a fast-paced production environment
• Work with electrical systems and equipment that may be hazardous if not handled properly
• May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Electrical trade certification or degree preferred
