Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology Telemetry team at Banner Health. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with various medical conditions, including cancer and other complex health issues.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in oncology or telemetry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Professional certification in oncology or telemetry.
