Job Overview:


In collaboration with radiologists and the Radiology Director, the CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while prioritizing patient care.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the latest practices in the field, enabling the technologist to operate independently and make informed decisions.

Utilizing critical thinking skills, the technologist will manage patient interactions, ensuring care is tailored to individual needs through age-appropriate assessments and effective communication.


Equipment Utilized:

Experience with MRM Radiology Computer Terminals, Hewlett Packard Laser Printers, Client PRO 16 slice CT Scanner, (2) Client VCT 64 slice CT Scanner, and Client CTI CT Scanner. Familiarity with McKesson PACS Hardware and Client Independent Workstation is also required.


Licensure and Certification:

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) and maintain Delaware State Certification for Radiologic Technology practice. BLS certification is mandatory.


Department Overview:

The technologist will collaborate with another technologist during scheduled shifts, ensuring a supportive work environment.
