Job Overview

Position Summary:

Total Security Solutions is seeking a skilled candidate to become part of our bulletproof glass production team as a warehouse general laborer. This role is designed to be part-time, with variable hours that may change weekly, averaging under 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and load trucks with necessary materials and equipment for the installation crew.
  • Transport materials and equipment to various job sites.
  • Receive and unload materials, ensuring proper placement within the warehouse.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse inventory levels.
  • Keep the warehouse environment clean and organized.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must possess a flexible schedule.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience operating a forklift is essential.
  • Strong commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Willingness to accept additional responsibilities as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills to exchange accurate information.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Proficient in operating computers and various office/shop equipment.

Work Environment:

  • This position is situated within a manufacturing floor and office environment, utilizing specialized shop and standard office equipment. Safety glasses and safety shoes are mandatory, with ear protection recommended in production areas.
