Position Summary:
Total Security Solutions is seeking a skilled candidate to become part of our bulletproof glass production team as a warehouse general laborer. This role is designed to be part-time, with variable hours that may change weekly, averaging under 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and load trucks with necessary materials and equipment for the installation crew.
- Transport materials and equipment to various job sites.
- Receive and unload materials, ensuring proper placement within the warehouse.
- Monitor and manage warehouse inventory levels.
- Keep the warehouse environment clean and organized.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must possess a flexible schedule.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience operating a forklift is essential.
- Strong commitment to quality and excellence.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to accept additional responsibilities as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Effective communication skills to exchange accurate information.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Proficient in operating computers and various office/shop equipment.
Work Environment:
- This position is situated within a manufacturing floor and office environment, utilizing specialized shop and standard office equipment. Safety glasses and safety shoes are mandatory, with ear protection recommended in production areas.
