Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Metro Dental Group. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental hygiene care to our patients.

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients, including cleanings, examinations, and patient education.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient records and scheduling.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain a clean and sterile work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere for patients and team members.

• Current dental hygienist license in Kentucky and an Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

• 2+ years of clinical experience required.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients dental health.
