A Dialysis Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering specialized nursing services within one of DCI's in-center hemodialysis facilities as part of a dedicated patient care team. Our RNs are vital in guaranteeing safe practices and ensuring the highest quality outcomes for every individual.


Schedule: Flexible full-time shifts available, consisting of either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts, determined upon hiring; Sundays off; no overnight shifts.

Compensation: Hourly pay ranges from $37 to $44, based on nursing and dialysis experience.

Responsibilities

Key Expectations:

  • Prepare dialysis equipment, including alarms and treatment supplies, ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • Administer hemodialysis treatments in accordance with facility protocols
  • Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
  • Monitor patients throughout dialysis, assessing and communicating any changes to physicians and families
  • Administer and document all prescribed medications
  • Adhere to CDC/CMS infection control guidelines
  • Engage in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
  • Document necessary patient education efforts
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local healthcare facilities
  • Assist in maintaining medication inventory
  • Lead a small team of patient care staff
  • Support the onboarding of new team members as directed
  • Perform additional tasks as needed
