Job Summary:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to deliver products to customers, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Delivery: Unload product from trailer and place in designated customer storage areas.
  • Customer Verification: Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Communicate with management for authorization when discrepancies are on invoices.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer complaints professionally.
  • Operational Safety: Operate vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions.
  • Productivity: Meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School or GED or equivalent.
  • Experience: One-year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck.
  • License: Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred).
Skills:
  • Communication: Strong customer relations and problem resolution skills.
  • Arithmetic: Ability to communicate articulately and perform simple arithmetic.
  • Adaptability: Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Physical Demands: Frequent lifting of product up to 50 lbs. during the shift.
  • Truck Access: Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck.
  • Physical Activity: Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
