Job Title: Airport Wheelchair Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Airport Wheelchair Supervisor to join our team at (R) VPS AIRPORT SERVICES [56570]. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the wheelchair operation to ensure that all passengers requiring assistance are provided with exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the wheelchair operation to ensure timely and efficient service to passengers
  • Assist passengers with mobility issues by pushing wheelchairs to and from gates, and assisting with luggage
  • Ensure wheel brakes are in place prior to allowing passengers to exit the wheelchair
  • Complete incident reports as necessary
  • Follow dispatcher gate orders and maintain a friendly and positive attitude
  • Exceed customer service standards and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and airport authorities

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to clear a background and drug screen
  • At least one year of supervisory experience
  • Airline experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300lbs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
