Under close supervision, the Automation Specialist will execute a range of straightforward to routine tasks by adhering to detailed work instructions that require minimal judgment and decision-making.

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and data tracking for feeders.
• Educate team members on the operation and upkeep of machinery.
• May oversee and coordinate the activities of Maintenance Assistants.

• Diagnosing issues in malfunctioning electro-mechanical equipment utilized in the manufacturing process.
• Dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment based on layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, or sketches.
• Utilizing diagnostic tools to conduct equipment checkouts.
• Potentially working overtime as required.
• Adhering to all procedures outlined in the company security policy.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Ability to acquire job skills and learn company policies to complete routine tasks.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Familiarity with basic and specialized hand tools and leveling instruments, including knowledge of torque specifications.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Understanding of electronic color codes and component value markings.
• Knowledge of safety practices and requirements.
• Competence in personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email).
• Experience with specialized maintenance tracking software.

• High school diploma or GED.

0-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
