Key Responsibilities- Assist with Help Desk activities by receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and upgrade end user desktop software, hardware and peripheral equipment.
- Receive, respond to and document incoming Help Desk calls and email.
- Provide support and management for video conference activities.
- Assist users with application setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and basic training.
- Assist with system and network administration activities.
- Occasional travel to rural areas required.
- Occasional nights, weekends, and overtime required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A+, Microsoft, Network+, or other similar technical certification must be obtained within (6) six months of employment.
- Valid, unrestricted Alaska driver's license.
- Two years' experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading MS Operating Systems, PC software, hardware and peripheral equipment in a network environment.
- Broad technical knowledge of PC hardware, software, peripherals and MS Operating Systems.
- General knowledge of networking fundamentals and terminology.
- Knowledge of audio/visual systems and equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advance repair skills for PC's, peripherals.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Less than 10% travel expected.
