Position Type:
Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage:
$17.00 per hour Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and ensure shelves and displays are well-stocked and organized.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management regarding products, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and general concerns.
  • Participate in inventory counts as per guidelines and monitor stock levels for accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
  • Follow all established company policies and procedures while maintaining the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stock merchandise from receiving areas to shelves; capable of placing products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed in this role.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Capable of safely and properly using equipment, including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
  • Ability to perform general cleaning tasks to meet company standards.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions while multitasking effectively.
  • Meet any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a retail setting preferred.
  • A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
