Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Clinical Dietitian will:

  • Provide comprehensive clinical nutrition services in alignment with federal and state regulations.
  • Travel approximately 75% of the time to various sites as required.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the nutritional care of residents, ensuring adherence to current standards and guidelines.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and scheduling of dietetic staff.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Dining Services to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Exhibit the values and mission of the company in daily operations.
  • Train staff on proper dietary techniques and practices.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and appropriate state licensure.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in dietary services within long-term care settings.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with residents and staff.
  • Knowledge of dietary regulations and practices relevant to nursing facilities.
  • Leadership qualities and a collaborative approach to team dynamics.
  • The ability to analyze and interpret dietary cost reports and financial data.
Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Work in environments with food and cleaning products.
