The Senior Clinical Dietitian will:
- Provide comprehensive clinical nutrition services in alignment with federal and state regulations.
- Travel approximately 75% of the time to various sites as required.
- Plan, organize, and direct the nutritional care of residents, ensuring adherence to current standards and guidelines.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and scheduling of dietetic staff.
- Collaborate with the Director of Dining Services to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Exhibit the values and mission of the company in daily operations.
- Train staff on proper dietary techniques and practices.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and appropriate state licensure.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in dietary services within long-term care settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with residents and staff.
- Knowledge of dietary regulations and practices relevant to nursing facilities.
- Leadership qualities and a collaborative approach to team dynamics.
- The ability to analyze and interpret dietary cost reports and financial data.
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
- Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Work in environments with food and cleaning products.
